Changing Your Fonts to Curves or Outlines

2. Go to TEXT>CONVERT TO OUTLINE.
TO CHANGE TO CURVES/OUTLINE IN FREEHAND:
1. Select all text.
2. Go to TEXT>CONVERT TO PATHS
TO CHANGE TO CURVES/OUTLINE IN COREL:
1. Select all the text (Double click on your arrow tool will select all items).
2. Depending on version, go to >CONVERT TO CURVES in menu. (In PC Ver. 7 & Mac Ver. 8, it is under ARRANGE)
TO CHANGE TO CURVES/OUTLINE IN QUARK:
1. Open your Quark document file.
2. For best results we need the file saved as an eps file with all text outlined. Quark only allows this operation on one line of text at a time. If your file contains a lot of text and you have Adobe Illustrator, it is easier to import your file to Adobe Illustrator and follow Illustrator Text to Curves Instructions.
3. If there are only a few lines....Select/highlight the text one line at a time and choose the Style command choose Text to Box. The text will be duplicated with vector curves. Reposition the created curved text, repeat for all additional lines of text and save as an eps file.
